After listening (more than 1000 times) to the latest remix from Teen Daze of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros‘ “Life Is Hard,” I really wanted to write something deep and meaningful. To be honest, I don’t even know exactly how and what can I say to express my devoted love for this piece. I could just flatter Teen Daze’s the relevance for the electronic scene, but I won’t. Listening to music is all about getting that feeling that apparently we can’t get anywhere else. It doesn’t really matter what genre you’re into. At the end of the day, what really matters is that specific track you’re going to keep next to you for the next couple years! I don’t about you, but this one might be one of those… Don’t ask me why, because I also don’t know why… While I was listening to the piece, I saw a random comment from a fan thanking Teen Daze for its importance for that specific person. The comment says: “I really appreciate how your music reflects both the highs and the lows of human existence. Thank you for making our living complexity beautiful and reminding us all that we are not alone. Bless.” And… how about you? What’s your thoughts about this one?
